Common questions

Crypto card fees, answered.

Are there any hidden fees?
No. The table above is the complete fee list. We don't charge for support, account opening, sign-in attempts, API calls, webhooks, freezes, reissues, or anything else you'd reasonably expect to be free.
Why a load fee instead of a swipe fee?
Because once your card is loaded, every spend at any merchant clears at full Visa/Mastercard pricing — no per-transaction skim. The rail fee covers the network settlement once, not every time you tap.
What about top-up minimums?
{min} minimum, {max} max per single top-up. You can chain top-ups if you need more headroom.
Will exchange-rate slippage cost me?
We convert at the spot rate the moment your top-up reaches finality. Whatever crypto value lands at finality is exactly what credits your USDT balance.
Where do I see all my fees?
Every charge appears in your Activity with the breakdown — load, rail fee, shipping — itemized by card and event.

FAQ

Crypto card fees, answered.

Everything people actually ask. Last updated .

How much does a Cryptocardium card cost?

A virtual Visa or Mastercard costs $2 to issue. The physical Visa Gold costs $20 in one-time shipping. Card loads carry a flat 2% rail fee. There is no monthly fee, no inactivity fee and no KYC fee.

Are top-ups free?

Yes. The processing fee on top-ups is 0%. You are credited the full amount sent at the on-chain spot rate the moment your transaction confirms.

What is the minimum and maximum top-up?

Minimum $200 USD equivalent per top-up. Maximum $50,000 USD equivalent per top-up. There is no daily or monthly cap on cumulative volume across multiple top-ups.

Is there a monthly or inactivity fee?

No. Cryptocardium does not charge a monthly subscription, an account-keeping fee, an inactivity fee, a card-not-used fee, or any KYC fee. You pay only the per-action fees: $2 to issue a virtual card, $20 to ship a physical card, 2% to load a card.

What is the card load fee?

A flat 2% rail fee applies when you load funds from your treasury balance onto a card. Unloading (moving balance back to treasury) is free. The 2% covers the issuer rail and network costs.

Are there cross-currency or FX fees?

A 1.5% FX margin applies on authorisations in currencies other than USD. The card balance is denominated in USD at the issuer; transactions in EUR, GBP, JPY and other currencies clear at the network rate plus 1.5%.

Are there limits on how often I can top up?

No. Multiple top-ups per day are allowed; there is no cumulative cap on volume across cards or chains. Each top-up is independently subject to the $200 minimum and $50,000 maximum.

Do I pay anything to withdraw unused balance?

Withdrawals back to an external on-chain wallet carry only the network gas fee (passed through at cost). There is no Cryptocardium withdrawal fee. Minimum withdrawal is $10.
